ALG announces Canadian Residual Value Awards

Generally speaking you want a car that has a high residual value. Why you ask? Well, if you lease your vehicle it means that your lease payments will be lower since the car is worth more at the end of the lease term. If you purchase your vehicle it means it’ll be worth more when it comes time to sell it. According to Geoff Helby of ALG, "Residual value is a complete indicator of value, taking into account quality, durability and brand desirability."

In the 4th annual Canadian Residual Value Awards, Subaru and Infiniti walked away with top honours for mainstream and luxury brands, respectively. Which individual models came away as winners in their respective categories? Find out after the jump.

“Infiniti Performance Line” announced at Pebble Beach Concours. Canadian performances begin in March 2011

More good news of the Infiniti persuasion was released on August 12 at the Concours d’ Elegance in Pebble Beach - Infiniti has officially announced the creation and impending launch of its “Infiniti Performance Line” stable of specialty-performance vehicles. Even better is the fact that the IPL vehicles will begin to arrive at Infiniti retailers across Canada in March 2011 (probably sideways, amidst clouds of tire smoke). Fantastic!

Infiniti Canada announces pricing for all-new 2011 Infiniti QX

For the second time this week, Canadian pricing has been announced on a luxury SUV. This time it's for the all-new, second generation 2011 Infiniti QX. The new QX features 25% more power, improved fuel economy, new luxury amenities and technologies.

C'est bon! Infiniti Essence Concept to be displayed at Montreal Auto Show

While the Detroit Auto Show is capturing the attention of most blogs (yes, we'll be there too!) the second largest Canadian auto show will open its doors to the public one week today.

Nissan Canada has announced that they'll be displaying the Infiniti Essence Concept which was first revealed at the Geneva Auto Show last year.

Nissan Canada achieves second-highest annual sales record for 2009

Nissan Canada Inc. today released its December and 2009 annual sales figures, concluding another year with its second-highest annual sales in its history. 2009 was down less than 5% compared with 2008's record-breaking results.

Hand-painted G37 celebrates Infiniti’s 20th anniversary

Infiniti Canada revealed the Infiniti G37 Anniversary Art Project Vehicle at the 14th Annual Canadian Art Gallery Hop Gala in Toronto.

To commemorate Infiniti's 20th anniversary, Infiniti Canada partnered with Cirque du Soleil to create a one-of-a-kind G37 Sport Coupe. Montreal artist Heidi Taillefer created the design and spent almost one month hand-painting the exterior of the vehicle.

Nissan Canada sales up 3.5%

Nissan Canada announced today reported sales of 7,422 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles in June, which is up 3.5 percent over the same month last year. The Nissan brand accounted for 6,743 units sold while
the Infiniti brand accounted for 679 units.
