Lexus Updates Website to Host 2013 GS

Lexus is building up the hype on the new GS by including it front and centre on their website. For those of you who don’t know, the GS is all-new for 2013. Brand new, in and out. Well, except for the powertrain. GS 350 models (as the name suggests) still get the 3.5L V6 carried over from the outgoing model; 306 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque according to Lexus. Nissan to reveal 2013 370Z in Chicago

Nissan is planning on unveiling their updated 370Z sports car. As the name suggests, the 3.7L V6 with 332-hp remains, which is still not enough to catch up to the competish.

When the government banned asbestos in the 1970s, most industries stopped using the substance as a manufacturing additive. However, many of the older automobiles on the road today still contain asbestos. And trace amounts exist in newer products, too.

Ram (read: Dodge) Truck makes “Über” Luxo Ram

Dodge (sorry, Ram Truck) is introducing a new luxury model to the Ram line, dubbed “Laramie Limited”. Dodge (I meant Ram Truck, I swear) says that it wants to attract more affluent pickup owners using a combination of capability and elegance. Wait a minute, what about the Laramie Longhorn you say? Isn’t that super-luxo on its own? Well in essence, yes, but it isn’t available across the range like the Laramie Limited will be. And if you’re not from Texas, you probably won’t appreciate it anyhow.
