We’ve put things in park!

By now you’ve probably noticed that we haven’t updated the site in a couple of weeks. Well, after nearly six years we’re putting the site in “park”. It doesn’t mean that we’ve turned off the engine but we’re pausing to reevaluate our small piece of real estate on the ever-growing interweb.

Will we restart in the future? I certainly hope so. But for the time being we’re refocusing our efforts on other projects. In the interim feel free to contact us through the “Contact Us” link above.

All the best and happy driving!

Peter Johnson and the team!

reading the articles on this site is a daily routine for me. If it is a money issue why not do a sponsored deal of the day based on automotive service or sales.

Its seldom a money issue, but always a time issue, and time is increasingly becoming a precious commodity.

I'm afraid Strada has hit the nail on the head.

Well this isn't welcome news. I enjoy this Blog and appreciate the concept (Canadian Auto news) behind it.

I also enjoy this blog as it's nice to get a Canadian view of the auto world without the constant American slant common to other sites. Perhaps one of the large Canadian media players might be able to help?

Bummer, you were the first automotive site I browsed every day.Straight reporting no bs - I really hope you can get back into business. In the meantime best of luck to all concerned!!!

We've been a link buddy with AutoNorth for quite some months now, and it's sad to see it go (at least for the time being). Its departure makes it one less Canadian automotive blog on the Internet, not that there were many to begin with.

While AutoTribute is not as Canadian-focused as AutoNorth (we're working on it), it's still a Canadian website that reports on the global automotive industry, including developments in Canada. If anyone is itching for the biggest news in the global industry, including editorial articles, give a look sometime.

I hope after evaluation, you decide to continue with Auto North. I truly enjoy the news from a Canadian perspective. Always informative, honest and enlightening.

I agree with the comment above, suggesting advertising to cover costs, if possible.

I've had multiple Canadian car forums and blogs and they are dang near impossible to grow. After awhile it gets tiresome doing updates for only a handful of followers. The only thing that consistently gets huge traffic is ground breaking info or spyshots (crashed our server 3 times). If you guys could hang out around Chryslers Brampton plant and possibly get info or pics of the new Barracuda that is apparently there you would see this firsthand :)

this isn't a very good news for us, i think you shouldn't put this on the park.

This will be a good news for all Canadian motorists. I think they are waiting for the comeback for better services about automotive issue.
Darn Still down :(
